The Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd. (KSSFCL) recently concluded a comprehensive two-day Skill Development Training Programme aimed at enhancing the capabilities of its workforce. Held on April 27th and 28th, the program took place at the prestigious “Souharda Sahakri Soudha” located on Margoosa Road in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru.
The inauguration ceremony, held on April 27th, marked the commencement of the training initiative. Mr. G Nangaja Gowda, President of KSSFCL, inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Joining him were esteemed dignitaries including Mr. B S Gundu Rao, Director of KSSFCL, and Mr. B H Krishna Reddy, Ex-President of KSSFCL, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Addressing the attendees, Sharanagouda G Patil, Managing Director of KSSFCL, delivered an insightful preamble speech, highlighting the significance of skill development in the modern professional landscape. The event commenced with a heartfelt prayer led by Smt. Vijayashree, setting a tone of introspection and learning.
G. Nanjan Gowda, in his address, emphasized the organization’s commitment to regular training programs for its staff, citing the importance of staying updated with modern technology and ethical standards. He stressed the role of employees as the lifeblood of the organization, urging them to uphold principles of integrity and loyalty.
Presiding over the event, Gundu Rao reiterated the importance of discipline and efficiency in the cooperative’s operations, emphasizing the need for staff to excel in various domains including education, training, promotion, and statutory functions. He underscored the organization’s dedication to providing comprehensive training opportunities to its employees.
The training sessions covered a wide array of topics over the two-day period. On the first day, Sharan Gowda G. Patil elucidated on the activities of KSSFCL, while Dr. Krishna, a Corporate Trainer, focused on skill development. Mr. Guruswamy, Deputy Registrar of Co-operatives, Bengaluru, shed light on Cooperative Inspection and Inquiry protocols, followed by a lecture from Mrs. Sindhu, Manager at KSSFCL, on the utilization of technology.
The second day saw sessions led by experts in various fields. Sharangowda G. Patil discussed internal discipline, time management, and stress management. Kallappa Obannagol, Joint Regulator of Co-operatives, Legal Cell, delved into the duties and responsibilities of Liquidators in Souharda Sahakaris, while Mr. Guruswami and Mr. H.S. Nagarajaiah provided insights into file and record management for different staff categories.
The training culminated in a valedictory function on April 28th, where Mr. A. R. Prasanna Kumar, Vice President of KSSFCL, commended the efforts undertaken for staff development, emphasizing the importance of problem-solving skills and organizational growth.
Out of a total of 101 staff members, an impressive 94 participated in the training, underscoring the enthusiasm and commitment of KSSFCL towards employee empowerment and continuous learning.
