Kamal Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha in Alibaug, Raigad district in Maharashtra has crossed a business mix of Rs 250 crore which creating enthusiasm among the managing committee members and members in general associated with the society.
An enthusiastic Chairman Satish Chandra Patil thanked the depositors for putting their trust in the society.
The Mahad Branch of the society formed in 2005 has also crossed business of Rs 30 crore in its 12 years of existence. A small celebration was recently organized to mark the event in the branch premises, said Patil to this correspondent.
Distinguished guests who graced the occasion included the society founder chairman Girish Tulpule, Vice-Chairman Santosh Puro, Nanakumar Chalke, Gitanjali Oak and directors.
Kamal Nagri Sahakari Patsanstha was established on 4th April, 1992 with about 300 members and with a deposit of Rs 30,000. The Urban Credit Society was inaugurated by N.S. Pharande then speaker of the Maharashtra Assembly.
Over 3000 members are associated with the society. It has a share capital of 5 crore disbursing 14 percent dividend to the members.
