Keeping pace with the rest of Indians, co-operators across the country are jubilant at the news of successful soft-landing of Chandrayaan-3 Vikram lander on the moon’s south pole. India is the first country to do so.
PM Narendra Modi says mission’s success “belongs to all of humanity.” Chandrayaan-3 – “Mooncraft” in Sanskrit – took off from a launchpad in Sriharikota in southern India on July 14. Scientists believe the south pole’s uncharted territory could hold important reserves of frozen water and precious elements.
Cooperators lost no time in sharing their happiness over the successful soft-landing of Chandrayaan-3. As soon as the lander landed on the moon, scores of cooperators and cooperative institutions shared their happiness through social media.
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah wrote on social media, “India becomes the first nation to touch the south pole of the moon with the success of the #Chandrayaan3 Mission. The new space odyssey flies India’s celestial ambitions to newer heights, setting it apart as the world’s launchpad for space projects. Unlocking a gateway to space for Indian companies, it will create a plethora of employment opportunities for our youths”.
IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi wrote on twitter, “This is history in making. Congratulations to the entire team of ISRO and everyone in India for the historic & successful soft- landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the surface of the south pole of the moon! Congratulations to Hon’ble PM for this Historic day and his constant support for the remarkable success of Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission”.
Kribhco Chairman Dr Chandrapal Singh Yadav wrote, “Congratulations to ISRO Team & all our Scientists, Engineer’s & All those involved in this successful Chandrayaan 3 Mission”.
Nafcub President Jyotindra Mehta wrote, “East or West INDIA is the best. Proud Moment for every Indian”.

There are many other local cooperators of different states who also lost no time in congratulating the ISRO team for this successful mission. Many WhatsApp groups associated with the cooperators are also filled with congratulatory messages.
Across the nation, people crowded around televisions in offices, shops, restaurants and homes to watch the moon landing live. It’s India’s Moment in the history of mankind!
