He highlighted key milestones, such as enhancing farmers’ income, advancing agri-tech, and strengthening cooperative efforts. IFFCO hosted the ICA General Assembly for the first time, with initiatives like NaMo Drone Didi, which empowered rural women farmers, and the training of over 1,700 rural drone entrepreneurs.
The Nano fertilizers project, which reached millions of farmers, was a success. Nano Urea and DAP sales increased by 28%, with international exports rising by 201%. IFFCO also set records in production and sales. The company continues to innovate with new products like Nano NPK and strives for sustainable farming solutions. Wishing you all a Very Abundant, Happy & Prosperous New Year 2025.
I wish the New Year 2025 brings lots of Happiness, Good Health & Success in all our lives. As we step onto the New Year 2025, I hope we all conquer professional heights & achieve new milestones.
Year 2024 was a testament of our dedication towards enhancing farmers income, developing new highly advanced Agri-technologies and deepening cooperative engagements.
I’m glad to share that for the first time in the 130-year history of International Cooperation Alliance’s (ICA), IFFCO successfully hosted the ICA General Assembly and Global Cooperative Conference 2024. The event was Inaugurated by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi Ji under the able guidance of Shri Amit Shah Ji, Hon’ble Home & Cooperation Minister Govt of India.
This year, as a part of PM’s initiative of NaMo Drone Didi IFFCO provided drone training to 300 women farmers as Namo Drone Didi to empower rural women and position them as the vital contributors of the Modern Agriculture. We have also trained more than 1764 rural drone entrepreneurs. IFFCO’s effort to increase awareness and adoption of Nano fertilizers amongst the farming community brought Nano Model Village/clusters project this year. This project includes spraying of Nano fertilisers and biostimulants via Kisan Drones by the rural entrepreneurs. Under this, over 3 lakh bottles of Nano Urea, Nano DAP and Sagarika were provided to farmers in 202 selected village clusters, covering an area of 4 lakh acres. We also sent videos on nano fertilizers via WhatsApp to 6 crore farmers. I want to applaud the Marketing & IT team for this accomplishment.
I’m happy to share that IFFCO’s Nano Urea Plus & Nano DAP continue to give good results to the farmers across the country. Friends, the sales of Nano fertilizers are also getting momentum both in Indian and Overseas markets. With our relentless execution backed by positive attitude, we were able to accomplish a sale of more than 2.55 crore bottles of our IFFCO Nano Urea Liquid & Nano DAP Liquid during 2024 which is 28% higher than the last year & can potentially save 2948 crores of subsidy. We have exported more than 236000 bottles of Nano Urea/Nano DAP which is 201% higher than last year.
With relentless dedication of our team, we achieved efficient operations resulting in production of 70.88 lakh MT of fertilizers, which includes 36.28 lakh MT Urea and 34.60 Lakh MT NPK/DAP/WSFs & Specialty Fertilizers till December 2024. It’s appreciable that sales of IFFCO’s Sagarika Granule & liquid Fertilizer has grown by 22% since last year. Friends, I am glad to share that our Profit Before Tax is expected to be more than 3000 crores. I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all for accomplishing stellar Production & Sales this year.
I’m delighted to announce that IFFCO will be launching Nano NPK fertilizer in Granular form for soil application. This will promote balanced nutrition with higher use efficiency of primary nutrients. Nano NPK fertilizer is enriched with Magnesium, Sulphur, Zinc and Copper which would help in increasing the crop productivity & would minimize nutrients losses. We are focused on developing sustainable ecosystem by integrating nanotechnology. drone technology, Al and data analytics to revolutionize the Agri-Food sector in the country. This is possible due to the commitment and hard work of IFFCO’s Scientists/Agro-Scientists, Engineers, Sales/Marketing teams at Plants & various offices across the country.
I commend the performance of our Joint Ventures, Subsidiaries and Associates & thank them for their support for being an important part of the IFFCO’s success Journey.
IFFCO has been continuously working towards serving the Cooperatives & Farmers with an aim of enhancing farmer’s Income and is committed to the PM’s vision of “Sahkar se Samriddhi, Atmanirbhar Bharat & Atmanirbhar Krishi.
Friends, I want to express my gratitude for the bestowal of Rochdale Pioneer Awards 2024 to me during the ICA conference 2024 and also for being honored with the title of “Fertiliser Man of India” given by Sahkar Bharati which I’m dedicating to my hard working colleagues of IFFCO. This was possible due to the unwavering support & dedication of IFFCO’s employees & management who continue to work tirelessly for the betterment of farmers. IFFCO will continue to work towards developing new cutting-edge technologies to improve the livelihood of farmers & transforming the agriculture sector across the Country.
We faced many hurdles in our Journey in providing Highly Advanced New Age Agri- technologies to our farmers but we are continuously overcoming the obstacles.
