From PACS to APEX, Co-operators celebrate R Day with gusto!

On the occasion of Republic Day, the news is pouring in from across the country about cooperative leaders celebrating the 74rd Republic Day with great enthusiasm. From national level Cooperatives to state level to district level to village level, co-ops have unfurled the national flag at their respective premises and celebrated the day with full gusto.

While hoisting the National Flag at the headquarters of Gujarat based Gujcomasol, National Cooperative Union of India President Dileepbhai Sanghani greeted cooperators and pledged to work to make India ‘Self Reliant’.

IFFCO Managing Director Dr. U S Awasthi wished the country well through social media and wrote, “Today, On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day2023; I, Hoisted National Flag At #IFFCO Paradeep Plant. Celebrated the Republic Day with IFFCO family members at Paradeep, Odisha along with our Unit Head and officials. Good to see everyone’s enthusiasm. HappyRepublicDay”.

On this occasion, ICA-AP President Dr Chandra Pal Singh Yadav celebrated the day with school students and shared photos through social media.

Kribhco MD Rajan Chowdhry hoisted the flag at its Noida office in the presence of other directors, employees, and family members.

Extending his greeting through social media, Nafcub President Jyotindra Mehta wrote, “May this Republic Day fill your heart with pride in our great nation. Happy Republic Day to Everyone”.

Sahakar Bharati, one of the founder members and RBI Central Board Director Satish Marathe also extended his wishes to cooperators and the people of the country on the occasion. “Let us all Re dedicate ourselves to build a Strong Bharat!”, he wrote on his Facebook wall.

NDDB Chairman Meenesh Shah hoisted the National Flag on the 74th Republic Day at NDDB, Anand. While addressing employees & their families he spoke about the significance of India’s constitution and highlighted NDDB’s contribution in socio-economic development of the farmers.

In an event organized on the occasion, Vamnicom Director Hema Yadav addressed the students and wished all Happy Republic Day 2023.

The official Twitter handle of Saraswat Bank wrote, “As we remember and salute the constitution makers for giving us the visionary document, Saraswat Bank wishes a Happy Republic Day to All Indians”.

Similarly, the Cosmos Bank wrote, “This 74th Republic Day, as citizens of India, let’s pledge to make India a stronger and a developed nation. Cosmos Bank wishes you all Happy Republic Day!”

News of the celebrations by cooperators also came in from Bihar, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, and other parts of the country. Leaders unfurled the tricolor on the occasion.

Biscomaun Chairman, Dr. Sunil Kumar Singh participated in a series of events organized at Bihar Legislative Council and Gandhi Maidan.

Many Uttarakhand-based cooperative institutions including Uttarakhand State Cooperative Federation, Uttarakhand State Cooperative Bank, Haridwar District Cooperative Bank, and other primary level co-operatives had lined up to celebrate the Republic Day at their respective places.

Narsinghpur (Madhya Pradesh) Collector Riju Bafna hoisted the flag and sang the National Anthem on the occasion of Republic Day at District Cooperative Central Bank, Narsinghpur. Officers and employees were present.

Pushpa Meena, Chairman, Gram Seva Sahakari Samiti Paota (Rajasthan) hoisted the tricolor in the presence of officials and others. Rajeesh Goyal, Secretary (Cooperation/Vigilance) Andaman & Nicobar unfurled the National Flag on the occasion of 74 th Republic Day at RCS Office, Port Blair.

The PACs spread across the country celebrated the day with full joy.Indian Cooperative joins the nation and co-operators in wishing a happy Republic Day to the countrymen. Long live India and long live the cooperative movement!
