In an exclusive interview given to Indian Cooperative, NCUI President Dileepbhai Sanghani outlined the massive preparations afoot to welcome Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah to celebrate International Cooperative Day at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on Monday.
There is limited space in Vigyan Bhawan but the request for passes is mounting till the last date, said Sanghani. Adding he said while only 1600 cooperators can be seated, NCUI has already received registration from more than 1800 cooperators.
Explaining, the NCUI President said cooperators connected to state co-op unions and national-level co-op organizations are attending the event. “A tremendous enthusiasm is being noticed among cooperators ever since Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has created a new Ministry and entrusted Amitbhai with the job to oversee it”, underlined Sanghani.
Lauding budgetary provisions and the recent cabinet nod for computerization of PACS, Sanghani was confident that co-ops can indeed usher in prosperity, as envisioned by the PM.
