Reports of cooperators celebrating the 74th Independence Day are pouring in on the desk of Indian Cooperative from several parts of the country. If Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has celebrated Independence Day by hosting a flag at his Delhi residence, Union Minister of State for Agriculture Parshottam Rupala celebrated the day with the cooperators in Amreli, Gujarat.
From small to big-all co-operatives have participated in the great national festival on Saturday. The apex body of Cooperatives National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) President Dr Chandra Pal Singh Yadav said “Salute to the Nation and best wishes to all my fellow cooperators on the joyous occasion of 74th Independence Day”.
Amul celebrated the 74th Independence Day by sharing a creative doodle ” Swadtantra divas” on social media.
On Independence Day, Nafcub President Jyotindra Mehta wrote on his facebook wall , “We worship the nation, from body, from mind and from life”.
Besides, Nafscob Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani celebrated the day with the Union Minister of State for
National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) also celebrated Independence Day. NCDC’s Managing Director Sundeep Nayak hoisted the national flag with employees at its headquarters l in Delhi. On the occasion, NCDC Social media handle twitter, “Independence Day Celebrations at NCDC headquarters New Delhi”.
Many cooperative institutions located in different states have celebrated the day with enthusiasm.
In Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Union President Jhunmun Gupta hoisted the National Flag.
In Bihar, Purnea District Cooperative Bank management and several officials hoisted the tricolor.
