The Punjab Government has enhances the limit of skilled works from Rs.15 lac to Rs. 30 lac for Cooperative labour and Construction Societies.
Chairman Labourfed Punjab Mr. Gurpartap Singh Khushalpur said that according to a notification issued by the Cooperative Department, the state government had reserved all unskilled works costing up to any value and skilled works up to Rs. 30 lac for Cooperative Labour and Construction Societies in the state.
He said that only Cooperative Labour and Construction Societies would be eligible to apply for works up to Rs. 30 lac through e-tendering.
He further said that these societies would be in-listed without any fee by PWD(B&R) as principal department and only gradation would be done by Irrigation department in future.
