Co-ops, from PACS to APEX- celebrate I Day with gusto; Sanghani leads

There was a line-up of cooperators across the country to celebrate the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm. From national level Cooperatives to state to district to village level unfurled the national flag at their respective premises and celebrated the day with full gusto.

NCUI President Dileepbhai Sanghani hoisted the National Flag atop his residence in Gandhinagar, Gujarat under the PM’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.

ICA-AP and Kribhco Chairman Chandra Pal Singh Yadav celebrated the day with school children and hoisted the national flag at Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.

On this occasion, IFFCO Managing Director Dr. U S Awasthi participated in a series of events held at the Paradeep unit of IFFCO and took a pledge that we together will carry forward the dream of Sahakar Se Samriddhi and Atma Nirbhar Krishi to bring more prosperity in the lives of farmers and rural India.

The cooperative lender- National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) Managing Director Pankaj Bansal also unfurled the national flag at the head office of NCDC and took pledge to build a developed India and prosperous nation by embracing new opportunities for empowered cooperatives.

NUCFDC President Jyotindra Mehta took to social media to greet the nation on the occasion. He wrote, “East or West, INDIA is Best. I love my INDIA”.

Nafcard and Gujarat’s Kheti Bank Chairman, Dolar Kotecha, also participated in the PM’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, distributing the National Flag among the staff of Kheti Bank and the general public near Ashram Road in Ahmedabad.

“This effort fostered a deep sense of patriotism and unity throughout the community, honoring our national pride and reinforcing our collective commitment to the nation and its values”, Kotecha said.

On the occasion, Dr Meenesh Shah, Chairman, NDDB unfurled the National Flag in the presence of the NDDB family. In his address to the gathering, he emphasized NDDB’s role in driving the socio-economic development of dairy farmers in the country.

VAMNICOM Director Hema Yadav hoisted the National flag in the Institute campus. Faculty, staff and students participated in the celebrations.

The official Twitter handle of Saraswat Bank wrote, “To every heart beating with patriotism and pride, Saraswat Bank wishes a very Happy Independence Day!”.

Similarly, the Cosmos Bank wrote, “Today, we celebrate decades of India’s growth and resilience. Cosmos Bank wishes you a Happy Independence Day!”

News of celebrations by cooperators also came in from Bihar, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, and other parts of the country. Leaders unfurled the tricolor on the occasion.

The PACs spread across the country celebrated the day with full joy. Indian Cooperative joins the nation and co-operators in wishing a happy Independence Day to the countrymen. Long live India and long live the cooperative movement!
