Cooperators from across the country are celebrating the 71st All India Cooperative Week with events dedicated to strengthening the cooperative movement, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
The apex body of cooperatives in the country, NCUI, is celebrating the 71st All India Cooperative Week from November 14 to 20, with a different theme each day. The main theme of the 71st All India Cooperative Week is “Role of Cooperatives in Building Viksit Bharat.”
NCUI President Dileep Sanghani will kick off the event at NCUI headquarters in Delhi. Several top-notch cooperators, including Dr. Chandra Pal Singh Yadav and Bijender Singh, are slated to join him, according to program details provided by the NCUI.
Reports of the event have come in from several states. The Karnataka State Co-operative Federation, in partnership with Udupi’s cooperative organization, will focus on a specific topic within the cooperative sector, aiming to increase public understanding and engagement each day.
The week begins with an inaugural event featuring local leaders and dignitaries, a special flag-raising ceremony, and the launch of a traveling “Shakara chariot” to spread awareness about cooperative principles across the district of Udupi.

Several officers of NCUI, as well as its consultants, including its Deputy CE and PS to the Chairman, have contributed to a body of writing on these themes.
On this day, an MoU will be signed between the National Cooperative Union of India and the Alliance for an Energy-Efficient Economy (AEEE). Dr. Satish Kumar, President of AEEE, and Dr. Sudhir Mahajan, Chief Executive of the National Cooperative Union of India, will be present.
