A strange crime of stealing money from a cooperative bank in Madhya Pradesh has come to light. The bank manager of the Harda branch of the district cooperative bank, Hoshangabad had disappeared with about Rs 3 crore from the bank.
Following the revelation of the theft, bank manager Joshi and cashier Bhavna Kale had been absconding.
However, Joshi came out of nowhere to the local police station with 4 bags bulging with rupee notes. When informed of the crime, the authorities immediately swung into action nabbing Joshi.
Police say, the alleged thief will undergo a medical check up and soon be produced in court. The amount recovered from Joshi counts less by Rs. 26 thousand and 5 hundred, police informed.
