IFFCO MD, Dr U S Awasthi met J P Nadda, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers at his office in New Delhi today on Wednesday. Dr. Awasthi briefed him about IFFCO and its services for the farmers and soil.
Awasthi shared with him that IFFCO is the largest producer of Phosphoric and Urea fertilisers in India which caters to the farmers of India via cooperative channel.
He further informed him that IFFCO has indigenously invented & produced Nano Fertilisers for the first time in the world. i.e. Nano Urea Plus Liquid and Nano DAP Liquid.
Tweeting about the meeting, Awasthi wrote on ‘X’, “Today, I met Hon’ble Sh. @JPNadda Ji, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers. I shared with him that IFFCO is the largest producer of Phosphoric and Urea fertilisers in India”.
“I also shared that IFFCO has indigenously invented & produced Nano Fertilisers i.e. Nano Urea Plus Liquid and Nano DAP Liquid. I updated him about IFFCO’s Drone Rural Entrepreneurs program and IFFCO Nano Model Village initiative to educate and promote the usage of Nano Fertilisers”, he added.
MD also updated him about IFFCO’s Agri Drone Rural Entrepreneurs program where more than 1700 rural entrepreneurs were trained by IFFCO for spraying Nano Fertilisers across the country and IFFCO Nano Model Village initiative in which more than 800 villages will be covered to educate and promote the usage of Nano Fertilisers.
Dr Awasthi further assured him that being Ranked Number 1 Cooperative in the world among the top 300 Cooperatives across the world, IFFCO is always committed to the farmers and soil of the country.
