Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM), Pune, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India, jointly hosted the Annual Convocation Ceremony for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management -Agri Business and Management [MBA] virtually in Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh recently.
The much sought-after event was hosted digitally due to Covid -19. According to the press release issued by VAMICON, 60 students who came off with flying colors were conferred the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Agri Business & Management).
Three meritorious students of the 26th Batch received the PGDM-ABM diploma and medals from the Governor of Andhra Pradesh on the occasion.
Delivering the convocation address, AP Governor Biswa Bhushan Harichandan stressed the importance of agribusiness and cooperative education in the context of overall development of the country.
Earlier, welcoming the guests Dr K K Tripathi explained various activities the students undertook during the two year PGDM -ABM program.
The course is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India, and has been graded as equivalent to M.B.A. degree by Association of Indian Universities and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi.
