The Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd. recently organized a comprehensive two-day training program on “Managerial Excellence” aimed at enhancing the skills of Presidents and Directors from urban cooperative banks. The event took place at the prestigious Vijayashree Heritage Hospet.
Manohar Maski, Founder Chairman of SUCO Souharda Sahakari Bank Ltd advocated for Urban Cooperative Banks to Transform into Self-Regulatory Organizations (SRO’s).
The training, inaugurated by Maski, Founder Chairman of SUCO Souharda Sahakari Bank Ltd., and presided over by Sri. G Nanjangouda, President of KSSFCL, emphasized the urgent need for urban cooperative banks to evolve into self-regulatory organizations (SRO’s).
G Nanjangouda, in his role as President of KSSFCL, underscored the importance of urban cooperative banks establishing robust policies to foster their development. He addressed delegates from urban cooperative banks, stressing the significance of updated knowledge and the formulation of strong banking policies.
During the event, Sri. Sharangowda G. Patil, Managing Director of KSSFCL, delivered the welcome and introductory speech. Sri. Vishwanth C Hiremath, President of Vikas Souharda Co-Operative Bank Ltd., and Sri. Raghurama Reddy, Director of KSSFCL, also spoke, highlighting the necessity for robust policies among urban cooperative banks to achieve the status of a strong Self-Regulatory Organisation (SRO).
A total of 21 participants from 09 Souharda Co-Operatives Banks actively participated in the training program. Sri. Suryakanth Ryakale, Kalburi Regional Officer of KSSFCL, expressed gratitude during the vote of thanks.
The event was attended by notable figures, including Sri. Manohar Maski, Founder Chairman of SUCO Souharda Sahakari Bank Ltd., Sri. J P Saokar, DGM (Retd) of Canara Bank Bengaluru, Sri.
