In the wake of complaints of irregularities in the recruitment process of Class IV category posts in District Central Cooperative Banks of Uttarakhand, the state government has transferred four assistant registrars and three general managers.
Dehradun DCCB General Manager Vandana Srivastava has been terminated from her services. The order of her termination and transfer of ARs and GMs in the DCCBs of the state was released on Wednesday evening.
It bears recall that the state government has formed a probe committee to identify the irregularities done in the recruitment process. The committee has to submit its report in 15 days.
According to the transfer order released by State Secretary Cooperative Meenakshi Sundaram, District Assistant Registrar (AR) of Haridwar, Rajesh Chauhan has been transferred to the Dehradun office.
Whereas, Assistant Registrar of Pithoragarh Surendra Pal has been sent to Haridwar. Harish Chandra Khanduri, Assistant Registrar Almora has been transferred to Champawat and from Champawat Manohar Singh Martolia has been sent to Pithoragarh.
Besides, the Secretary and General Manager of Almora District Co-operative Bank Almora have been sent to the Dehradun cadre office pending investigation.
In his place, Nainital DCCB General Manager Prakash Chandra Dumka has been given the charge. Similarly, DCB Pithoragarh General Manager Surendra Kumar Prabhakar has also been also sent to the cadre office in Dehradun.
In his place, NN Bhatt, Deputy General Manager, Pithoragarh has been given the charge.
Ram Awadh, General Manager DCCB Udham Singh Nagar has been sent to the cadre office in Dehradun and in his place, Deputy General Manager Digvijay Singh has been given the charge.
Following the termination of Vandana Srivastava, GM, Dehradun DCCB, the Tehri DCCB GM S Singh has been given an additional charge.
Readers would recall that recently, the Uttarakhand government banned the recruitment process and told district cooperative banks which have released the results, not to recruit them till further orders.
