If Nafcub senior cooperator and former President H K Patil is to be believed there is no leadership crisis in the apex urban cooperative banks’ Federation. “We have a competent officiating President in Shandilya”, he said to a query from Indian Cooperative. Patil is a Minister in the Karnataka govt.
On the occasion of AGM and the Board meeting all the senior cooperators had come and a solution to the crisis was anticipated. But Nafcub leaders are said to have made no effort to defuse the tension causing many members to doubt their leadership qualities.
Patil, however is a bundle of confidence and says the confidence expressed in the AGM by delegates for its leadership is encouraging. Difference if any would be sorted out sooner than later, he added.

Yes there is problem in Leadership. According to Dr Abhyankar, he was removed arbitrarily which was confirmed by High Court and Central Registrar. This is the reason the AGM was not chaired by Jyotinder Mehta as was done last year Now it was chaired by Vice President. As I mentioned in the meeting the top leadership should sit together and resolve the issues. Without strong united leadership the coop voice will not be heard by the Govt and problems will not be resolved Denying that there is no problem is not correct
Denial only shows that the intention is to resolve is missing. Everyone knows about the crisis
