Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Mohanbhai Kalyanjibhai Kundariya inaugurated an agricultural exhibition organized at Indira Gandhi Agriculture University, Raipur on Thursday.
Addressing a large gathering of farmers as well as cooperators, Kundariya said farmers should take maximum benefits from the successful cooperative societies which are doing a laudable job in the agriculture sector.
He urged farmers to use modern agricultural techniques for improving their quality and quantity of their produce with the help of farmers who are already engaged with cooperatives.
Kundariya said if the schemes like Soil Health Card, Pardhanmantri Krishi Sinchai Yozana and Pradhanmantri Fasal Bhima Yozana launched by Union government will be implemented in proper manner the income of farmers will double in no remote future.
Several cooperators such as Lakhan Lal Sahu, Ashok Dabas, Ashok Bajaj and others accompanied the Minister on this occasion.
Kundariya has been invited by the Chhattisgarh state cooperative union as chief guest in a mega cooperative show titled”make in India in cooperative”.
