The Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd. (KSSFCL) organized a one-day training program focused on loan disbursement and recovery management for Recovery Officers of Souharda Urban Cooperative Banks.
The event took place at “Souharda Sahakari Soudha,” Malleswaram, Bengaluru. The program was inaugurated by Smt. Gagana K, Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Souharda Cooperative Arbitration Court, Bengaluru, who lit the ceremonial lamp.
In her address, Smt. Gagana emphasized the critical role of Recovery Officers in ensuring proper documentation before sanctioning and releasing loans, highlighting the importance of thoroughness in the loan process.
Mr. G. Nanjana Gouda, President of KSSFCL, presided over the event and reiterated the organization’s commitment to providing training across all sectors of the cooperative movement. He stressed that proper legal documentation and obtaining legal opinions are vital for successful loan sanction and recovery.
Several distinguished guests graced the event, including Mr. A.R. Prasanna Kumar, Vice President of KSSFCL, Mr. Nagaraj R. Deshpande, Director of KSSFCL, and Mr. Premananda B.P, Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies.
The Managing Director of KSSFCL, Sri. Sharanagouda G Patil, delivered the keynote speech, while Mr. Sivakumar Biradar, Senior Officer of the Training Department, welcomed the attendees.
The vote of thanks was extended by Mr. Shridhar, Assistant General Manager, with the event’s prayer conducted by Smt. Renuka M V.
A total of 63 representatives from 16 Souharda Urban Cooperative Banks participated in the training, benefiting from insights shared on effective loan recovery strategies and management practices.
