As soon as Chandra Pal Singh Yadav reached the Jhansi Railway Station, he got a hero’s welcome by a huge number of his supporters waiting for him for hours at Railway Station. Earlier, Yadav had been elected unopposed as the Chairman of Kribhco, which is the 2nd largest fertilizer cooperative of India.
Thousands of supporters rushed to be the first to garland him even as Yadav struggled to meet each of them individually. Yadav had arrived Jhansi by Gatimaan Express on Saturday noon.
It turned into a mega rally where everyone wanted to felicitate him with garlands. Some of his supporters were at
the railway station with dhol-nagada and they could not help dancing on the beats of dhol-nagada.
Yadav standing in a flower-decked vehicle and traversing the streets of Jhansi at a slow pace. Later on, he got a warm welcome at his residence from his supporters.
One of his followers posted the photograph of the event on social media where Yadav was seen being drowned with garlands. An emotional Yadav thanked one and all profusely.
Singhwarat Yadav alias Babua, Mauranipur Municipality President Harishchandra Arya, former District Panchayat member Arvind Yadav, Bunty Sahu, former Councillor Awadhesh Yadav, Social Worker Monu Khurana and many supporters and well-wishers of Yadav were present at Railway Station.
The story was no different for other winners of Kribhco election 
when they returned home. Bihar dailies splashed stories of Biscomaun Chairman Dr Sunil Kumar Singh winning Kribhco Board position unopposed. Hundreds of Sunil’s supporters surrounded him on his return, media reports say.
There are also reports of Paresh Patel, another winner from Gujarat being felicitated in Surat. Bhikhubhai Patel led the team of co-operators who welcomed Patel. Patel also won unopposed.
It bears recall that the Thursday elections of Kribhco saw re-election of Chandra Pal Singh Yadav as the Chairman and Sudhakar Chowdhary as the Vice-Chairman.
The old guard of the team, V R Patel however lost at the hands of BJP supported candidate Maganbhai by a margin of 48 votes.
