Inaugurating the new head office of the leading credit cooperative-Lokmanya Multipurpose Cooperative Society at the new location in Pune last week, Bihar’s governor Rajendra Arlekar praised the working of the society and said that it has earned the trust of people.
Governor Arlekar expressed that Lokmanya Society should expand its network at the national level.
He further added, “I have seen the progress of ‘Lokmanya Society’ very closely. Even during the difficult times of Corona, the society has done well on all aspects. The society is not only active in financial related activities but also doing social work”.
“The operations of the head office of ‘Lokmanya Society’ will now continue from the new office and I wish them all the best”, Arlekar added.
Bihar’s Governor was full of praise of Lokmanya Society founder Chairman Kiran Thakur and said with his dedicated efforts the society is growing well.
In his speech, Lokmanya Society Founder Chairman Kiran Thakur apprised about the financial progress of the organization and informed that the society has continuously introduced new forms of financial cooperation to everyone.
Archaeologist Dr. G.B. Deglurkar said, ‘Lokmanya Society’ is a unique case in the financial sector. The organization is functioning with 213 branches and the founder Chairman continues to work with honesty and loyalty. The Lokmanya Society has established itself as an organization working for the welfare of the common people.
While extending greetings, Pt. Vasant Gadgil praised the work being done by the Lokmanya Society as unique in the fields of finance and social work.
On this occasion, Sanskrit Pt. Vasantrao Gadgil, Administrator ofMaharashtra State Cooperative Bank Dr. Vidyadhar Anaskar, Founder-Chairman ‘Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society’ Kiran Thakur, Director Prasad Thakur, Pune Zonal Head Sushil Jadhav, Chief Financial Officer Veer Singh Bhonsale and others were present.
The society has shifted its head office from Karnataka to Pune and it has been set up at Law College Road, Pune. Lokmanya Pune Zonal Head Sushil Jadhav proposed a vote of thanks.
