Congratulations pour in as Co-operators greet winners

Social media was abuzz with congratulatory messages as soon as the counting began and trends started to emerge. In the very beginning, Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah established a comfortable lead, which his rival could never overcome.

However, it was a different story for Aditya Yadav, who trailed in the beginning but emerged victorious in the end. The see-saw game continued throughout the day for several candidates whose fortunes were being decided through the counting.

Once the results were out, the exercise of congratulating the winners began in earnest. IFFCO Managing Director Dr. U.S. Awasthi met Mansukh Mandaviya and congratulated him for his remarkable victory in his Lok Sabha constituency seat from Porbandar. Awasthi was accompanied by IFFCO Marketing Director Yogendra Kumar.

Mandaviya achieved a historic victory from the Porbandar constituency, receiving 6,33,118 votes, while his rival from the Congress Party, Lalit Vasoya, received only 2,49,758 votes. Mandaviya won the election with a margin of more than 3 lakh votes. The IFFCO MD wasted no time in congratulating the winners of VIP Lok Sabha seats, extending his greetings through his ‘X’ wall.

Awasthi also congratulated Aditya Yadav, the SP candidate from Badaun. He wrote on X, “Congratulations to Aditya Yadav, a former Director of IFFCO & ICA and a dynamic young cooperative leader, for winning the Lok Sabha mandate from Badaun. Best wishes for your win in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. A leader with agriculture & cooperative background.”

Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, writing on X, “I bow to the people of the nation for giving the NDA, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, the opportunity to serve the country for the third consecutive time. The third consecutive victory has clearly demonstrated that the people’s trust lies solely with Modi Ji.”

Speaking to the Indian Cooperative, NCUI President Dileep Sanghani congratulated the winners and said, “The more number of co-operators win, the better for the movement.” Sanghani also congratulated Amit Shah, Mandaviya, and Rupala for their grand victories, noting that their wins augur well for the cooperative movement.

ICA AP President Dr. Chandra Pal Singh Yadav also extended greetings to the winners and said the cooperative movement would be strengthened by the victory of co-operators as Lok Sabha members.
