Sahakar Bharati’s President, DN Thakur has said that the future of the country is safe in the hands of cooperatives as they alone have the potential to generate massive employment in the villages. Thakur said this while addressing a cooperative awareness event organized by Sahakar Bharati Punjab’s Rupnagar unit at Noorpur Bedi.
Thakur said that people living in villages have the power to change the picture of the country. It’s the mandate of the Sahakar Bharati to remind them of their strength and instil self-confidence in them, he added. The solutions of the problems of villagers are not anywhere else but with them only, said Thakur adding only with self-confidence and self-respect, we can change our country and the world.
Talking about the current situation in the state of Punjab, Thakur said youths need to be roped in the cooperative sector so that we can save not only them but also the country, society and the agriculture in the process.
