Sahakar Bharati is celebrating the Tri Annual Conference starting Friday and concluding on Sunday in Ahmadabad in Gujarat. Mr Ravi Shankar Prasad Union Minister for Communication & IT will inaugurate the Conference.
Giving the information Jyotindra Mehta posted on his Face Book wall “the 5th National Conference of Sahakar Bharati will be held at Pirana, Ahmedabad from Friday, 20th November to Sunday, 22nd November, 2015.
“We have invited Hon. Smt Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister to preside over this Session. On this occasion, as is our tradition, we will also felicitate an eminent cooperator with the Late Shri Laxmanrao Inamdar Award”, writes Mehta.
About 2500 delegates, from all States and Union Territories, covering 400 Districts and all major segments of the Co Op Sector, will attend the Conference, Mehta says. He however adds that participation in the Conference is restricted to Karyakartas only (from Tehsil level to National level) who are engaged in organization building.
Dr R Vaidyanathan Professor at Indian Institute of Management Bengaluru will deliver the Keynote Address.
Mr Radha Mohan Singh, Union Minister for Agriculture & Co Operation will be the Chief Guest of the Valedictory Session while Dr Bajranglal Gupta, eminent economist and Uttar Kshetra Sanghchalak, RSS will be the Chief Speaker.
On the opening day the national president of Sahakar Bharati is also expected to receive the Sahakar Ratna Award to be bestowed by IFFCO on the occasion of the Nehru Memorial Lecture it organizes every year.
Clarifying the clash of dates between IFFCO Lecture and Sahakar Bharati Conference, Marathe told Indian Cooperative “immediately after the IFFCO programme I shall leave for Amdavad. Formal inauguration of the Conference is on 21st at 11am.”
