Stalls of the cooperative sector at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) at Pragati Maidan are drawing a huge number of footfalls. Some of the top co-op brands at the Fair include Amul, Trifed, Jharkhand based Aiysha Handloom Weavers Cooperative, Himachal Pradesh based Manu Weavers Cooperative Society, Bhutti Weavers Cooperative Society, Department of Co-operation, Kerala and others.
Rajya Sabha MP from Kerala, A.A. Rahim will launch a few new products made by primary cooperative societies on Tuesday. The fair will last till 27th November.
When Indian Cooperative correspondent visited the stalls of co-ops, exhibitors were eager to share the positive feedback coming from visitors. “We are getting good response from visitors who are showing willingness to know about our products. We hope that by the end of the fair we will earn handsome profits”, said one of the stall exhibitors.
However, this time there is no separate space allotted to co-ops; they are showcasing their products at their respective state pavilions.
The Kerala Co-op department informs that for the 41st India International Trade Fair (IITF-2022), Kerala is selected as a focus State. Various govt. Departments from Kerala have opened stalls to showcase their products.
