Biscomaun Chairman is a paper tiger: Vishal
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

No matter what the Biscomaun Chairman achieves at national level such as getting Vice-Chairmanship of Nafscob to Ramesh Chaubey , the cooperators of his home state Bihar still think him a paper tiger only.

In all the cooperative elections held after the Biscomaun a couple of years ago , we have shown him his size, said Vishal Singh, son of late Ajit Singh to Indian Cooperative. This self-proclaimed invincible cooperator Sunil Singh is actually not so invincible, added Vishal.

Vishal who shuffles between Patna and Delhi on account of him being on the board of some national cooperative federations as well said that a true cooperator does not brag as has been the habit of Sunil. He nearly lost his man Friday Ramesh Chaubey in the state cooperative bank election as the latter could win on the strength of lottery rather than on his mentor’s support in the recently concluded election.

The scion of famed Tapeshwar Singh, Vishal- a young man in his late twenties is the Chairman of Tapendu Urbanvishal-350x250 Cooperative Bank- a small but successful UCB located in Patna. His grandfather late Tapeshwar Singh is credited with igniting the cooperative movement in the state and setting up BISCOMAUN-now in control of Sunil Singh and team.

Even in Biscomaun, had I got just 11 more votes I would have equaled his vote-count. A man who is never tired of boasting about his hold and influence on the state cooperators could win just by 21 votes! Is this an impressive figure? he wondered.

In the state cooperative federation elections he hastily withdrew when he saw things are not going his way. He has filed nominations which later he withdrew, ask him why, Vishal asked. Later his entire team whom you would find whenever he visits Delhi such as Ram Kalevar Singh, Ram Vishnu Singh suffered humiliating defeat.

But worst for Sunil was yet to come as he tried to win our panel man Biadyanath Singh but failed to get his dream realized. Our associate Vinay Shahi was elected with flying colours. Such is Sunil’s hold, Vishal added sarcastically.

Readers would recall that Biscomaun election is subjudice as the Supreme Court has sent the matter back to High Court. The latter had earlier ordered stay on the election against which Sunil Singh and team had move to the apex court which granted them immediate relief. The matter would be taken up once the vacation is over.

The elections were held and Sunil Singh and his team nearly won all the seats. I do not understand his haste in ordering Biscomaun election when he had more than two years to go, Vishal Singh said. There is more to it than meets your eye. Sunil had realized that he has no future if the Bihar Election Authority conducts the election, added Vishal.

Vishal said that no state can allow somebody to usurp its dues; Biscomaun will have to clear dues before anything.
