Today is the big day for the apex marketing cooperative federation of Bihar, BSCOMAUN. An SGM has been called at 11 am at Deep Narayan Singh Cooperative Management Institute in Patna where all the 207 newly elected delegates through their Directors will choose the Chairman and the vice-chairman.
Sunil Singh, the man who single handed ensured that Biscomaun election takes place let what come , is sure to be re-elected as the Chairman once again, said a number of newly elected Directors Indian Cooperative talked to.
In fact there is scramble for being his proposer and seconder among the Directors, quipped a director on condition of anonymity. But Indian Cooperative has reliably learnt that given his age and seniority Panchanan Sharma aged 90 is going to be the proposer for Sunil Singh’s name. Another senior cooperator Mr Satyendra Narayan Singh is likely to be the seconder.
Though talkative otherwise , Sunil Singh was reticent on the issue of who is going to be the Vice-Chairman. But his supporters told this correspondent that he has made up his mind on the name of Gopal Giri whom Indian Cooperative christened Gandhi of Cooperative long time back.
Giri is a mild mannered person with friendly disposition. Giri has achieved a rare feat of balancing between Ajit Singh and Sunil Singh earlier and now between Vishal Singh and Sunil Singh- the two shorn adversaries.
Earlier, Sunil got elected all men of his choice as the returning officer R K Singh finally put up the names of the 17 Directors who won unopposed in the apex marketing cooperative federation of Bihar, Biscomaun.
The names of winner are as follows:- Amita Bhushan; Panchanan Sharma; Navendra Jha; Anil Kumar Yadav; Jeetendra Kumar ; Mahesh Rai ; Ramvishun Singh; Gopal Giri; Ram Babu Singh; Raghuvansh narayan Singh; Ramjan Ansari ; Ram Kalevar Singh; Sona Ram Munda; Sunil Kumar Singh; Umesh Kumar Verma and in Category-B : Girendra Nath Tiwari; Satyendra Narayan Singh .
