Milk prices have shot up all across the country and now it is turn of Mumbaikars to buy costly milk.
It all started with Amul who is the brand leader in the segment. Mother Dairy soon followed the suit. And then it was opening of flood gates with each state milk cooperative federation raising prices in quick succession.
The re-elected Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar was the only one who declared that Sudha will not raise price of milk. But COMFED , the state cooperative milk federation, showing thumbs to him raised the price.
