Speaking at the Global Ayush investment and innovation Summit being held at Gandhinagar, GCMMF Managing Director R S Sodhi batted for the consumption of desi ghee calling it Yellow Gold.
Our scriptures talk of Ghee as super food and its consumption leads to growth of mental power, said Sodhi. “As per Veda’s, Ghee which is Yellow Gold is natural super food , enhances brainpower, vision, skin glow, joints lubrication, digestion , height ,immunity etc”, Sodhi tweeted later.
Earlier, on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the event in the presence of Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Kumar Jugnauth and Director-General of World Health Organization Dr Tedros Ghebreyesus.

Global Ayush Investment and Innovation Summit is the first of its kind attempt by the Government of India, to seek investments into the sector that has been rapidly expanding in the post-COVID world. The Summit seeks to develop India as the hub for traditional medicine practices, which will guide the world towards attaining better health and lifestyle.
The three-day event are full of enthusiastic people participating in the event. Ayush Ministry has received Letter of Intent (LOI) from 28 companies to the tune of Rs. 6000 crores so far. This will help create over 5.5 lakh jobs and positively impact over 76 lakh lives, said Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha in the press conference at the second day of the event.

The exhibition halls are also loaded with ayurvedic beauty and cosmetic products, promoting beauty through Ayush. Some of the interesting products by Green Forest, a startup by Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (ITRA) Jamnagar, include natural baby soap made of milk and honey, vedic jal which works as an antacid etc. Further, they have also made the world’s first Ayurvedic Milkshake powder “ojosmriti”.
One among many start-ups is Ncipher, a device which will help Ayurveda doctors or Vaidya to do naadi parikshan and get the digital result. Another interesting startup is Ayupathy, which has been developed by the Cummins College of Engineering Women to check heart conditions at the early stage.
Apart from all these activities, several activities like plenary sessions, symposium, round tables etc. were also scheduled on the second day of Summit, where eminent experts and speakers expressed their views. Some of the significant topics included Ayush based bio-medical engineering innovations, global Ayush research and development initiatives.
