I saw your site and thought to sought some help with the queries as our recovery matter lies with one of urban cooperative bank in Uttaranchal as they would be proceeding under section-70 of Uttaranchal cooperative societies act, 2003.

1) as they have refused to provide us with the loan documents and sanction letter for one of account, certified copies of statement of accounts etc as we have already requested for same in our earlier representation, what would be right forum to ask them again in accordance with law ?

2) can you please let me know the right forum to file counter or damage claim for all the alleged wrongdoings of the bank due to which we have suffered along with future business opportunity loss. Also, such situation has arisen due to the wrongdoings and they are not willing to move towards some amicable settlement in spite of several requests for our end

3) how if the bank resorts to extra-legal means like publication of photographs in newspaper to threaten and defame us as they had already published notice in newspaper earlier, where should we file complaint for this?

I C Naik

It appears to be a business loan and business dealings with urban cooperative bank and a dispute between bank and borrower. Such issues do not so closely relate to the administrative problems normally faced by cooperators. So we would rather keep away from commenting on such situations.
