I have a basic query on leasing of flats. Please let me know if the owner of the flat can lease his property to single/multiple bachelor’s (men or Ladies). Inspite of it being passed in AGM.
Secondly, is there a law which states that society cannot refuse accommodation to bachelors inspite of it having been approved in AGM?

Democratic functioning of CHS calls for upholding member’s decision in General Meeting which does not violate a law of the land. At present no law forces private parties (other than State) to rent a property to any person who asks for it. Even a member is bound by such decisions because as a member majority decion of members of his society is binding on him.
