In our society (a registered CHS of 7 members) in Navi Mumbai, terrace flat owner is functioning like a Godman and holding his sessions on every Tuesday in the flat attracting a good number of people coming in from elsewhere. None from the society nor from the near vicinity participates. the inflow of so many people in the premise is taxing on other tenants. noise and chaos reach at its helm at times dependent on festive occasions. the prayers /chanting /singing/ringing bells cause noise pollution is this allowable to function in a resident housing society? what is the recourse available?
Since tackling this issue can attract religious overtones, the society has been restraining itself from acting upon it.
