Can an owner member eligible to become a committee member if he is the owner of a flat in the society, but he stays in another rented flat in the same society and has given his flat on rent? We are from Maharashtra state.

There is no such prohibition unless your society’s registered bye-laws do so. Please consult your bye-laws (free of charge) during office hours.
