Your the management committee appears to be completely in dark about what is going on in Cooperative societies since 14 2 2104. A new State Cooperative Election Authority has been given charge of elections in all Cooperative Societies including housing. The Government has amended the MCS Act 1960 and the MCR 1961 and published new election rules called Maharashtra Co-operative Societies (Election to Committee) Rules, 2014.
6 months before the expiry of 5 years of tenure of the present the management committee. the Hon. Secretary has to inform the last date of the Committee in office to the Ward Cooperative Election Officer , so that he organizes election well ahead of the last date. On or next day or earlier of the last day the new management committee ought to have taken charge.
So let some one meet any senior officer in the office of the Deputy Registrar P ward at following address;
