I reside at Bhayandar, Thane. I want to ask you that in our Society there is one person who again and again tries to dissolve our society committee by complaining to Registrar that our society accounts are not clear and he ask for compensation for his sickness which he claims that emerge because of rude behavior of other society members towards him.
I want to ask you is such compensation is right to ask and what we can do with our accounts so that he in future cannot question that.

Two issues one member has.
First of all how serious is the member about these issues? Based on facts you have given he does not seem to be so.
If accounts are not clear to him, maybe he does not have the ability to understand them. If he is serious about it, he should tell the secretary as what is not clear, so that secretary can clarify. He should attend AGM where accounts are discussed. Outside AGM he has no right over accounts so that they can complaint about.
If other members of the society harasses him that is not within the Committee’s jurisdiction to punish them, unless their behaviour is unruly, in public. That is the area of Police. If any compensation he deserves that is payable by the members who harass him. Not able to stop a group of members harassing any other members is not a deficiency in service that he wants society to compensate him. He should file a civil suit in Court for compensation to which society has no relevance. This is not a Society issue.
