Our Society Management have decided to put the Entry and Exit Charges for tenants on owners who have given flats on rent.
Please can you advise me if charging this kind of charges is LEGAL
I am already paying regularly without fail my Maintenance and 10%Non-Occupancy
charges billed to me.
In recent AGM Society has passed resolution to collect Rs 10,000.00 from each landlord who gives flat on rent , towards the exit-entry fee of Rs 4000.00 and a refundable deposit of Rs 6.000.00”..
Please advice me what to do.

This is an un-healthy practice. Some CHS do charge furniture handling through lift but that is reasonable not exorbitant like 10000.
If there are other members who sub-let their flats I suggest all of you file a dispute before Cooperative Court as Group with CHS as provided under Bye law 174(b)(i).
