We would like to know if a resolution passed unanimously in Special General Body meeting in 2013 and subsequently executed by Managing Committee can be reversed today (2016) under any by law.
The said resolution involved appointment of a consultant for a specified maximum fee to carry out some activity on behalf of the Society.
The consultant was appointed in 2013 & paid, with 70% being paid after successful completion of assignment.
Thanks & regards

Bye Law No 109 provides answer:
109 No resolution can be brought at a General Body Meeting of the Society, cancelling its previous resolution, unless six clear months have elapsed, after passing of the previous resolution.
However let me caution you. As against the Consultant this resolution is your interna matter and not binding on him. Cancellation of Contract with him by the Society is governed by the Contractual terms and not by the General body Resolution.
