There was a complaint raised by the fair owner residing below me regarding water leakage from my bathroom to his falt below my flat to society
I conducted a repair in 2012 with consent of society and to the complainant satisfaction spending 35000 from my individual share after 3 years against in 2015 during rainy season he complaint that the leakage has started again
I wrote a letter on aug 2015 to society that I have already spend money and can’t spend more on this and require society help for resolving the issue
But I diet receive any revert and not the complainant complain later in that year
But now again the society and the complainant has written to me a threatening letter that if do not conduct repairs then I will be sent legal notice and cost of the lawyers will be debuted from my account

You may draw the attention of the Committee (copy to Member below your flat) to Bye law No 159 reading as under:
- The following repairs and maintenance of the property of the society shall be carried out by the society at its cost:
(a) (i) all internal roads, (ii) compound walls, (iii) external water pipe lines, (iv) water pumps, (v) water storage tanks, (vi) drainage lines, (vii) septic tanks, (viii) stair-cases, (ix) terrace and parapet walls, (x) roofs of flats, (xi) stair-case lights, (xii) street lights, (xiii) outside walls of the building/buildings vi) (xiv) all leakages of water, (xv) electric lines up to main switches in the flats, (xlifts, (xvii) roofs of the flats and the damaged ceiling and plaster their on in the top floor. Flats on Account of the leakage of the rain water through the terrace. (C & R’s Letter No. HSG/D – III/Bye-law No. 159 (a)/92 – Dtd. – 9 Dec. 1992).
(b) All the repairs, not covered by the bye-law No. 159 (a) shall be carried out by the members at their cost.
Also claim the refund of expenses mistakenly incurred by you in the past for compliance of duty which was that of the society.
