I have a query regarding Co-operative Housing Society Elections. Mrs. A and Mr. B (Wife & Husband) are joint Owners of a Flat in our Housing Society.
I would like to know whether during Society Elections. Can Mr. B (Husband) contest elections with the consent letter from his wife? Or is it that only the First named Owner Mrs A can contest the Election?

It’s controversial. Election officer allows though BL No 25 prohibits such right, so try your luck. If a losing member challenges you could lose.
