Sir i want to know if district central cooperative banks are government banks or these are private bank? Who regulates these banks–state government or central government?
And also how these banks use “LIMITED” word in bank name?

District cooperative banks are enterprises owned by its members. their banking operations are governed by RBI. Where substantial funds are provided by Government they are also governed by decisions of the Government concerned as regards directors etc.
