The housing society i have an apartment in Navi Mumbai does not have a practice of raising maintenance bill however they still expect the residents to pay the maintenance charges. They have also levied the late payment charges
Is it permissible for the society Managing Committee to ask for maintenance charges without raising maintenance bills
Now they have issued notices for recover of maintenance charges along with late fee

Also tell me the date on which (in case if) the registered bye-laws were replaced by adopting the latest Model in Special General Body Meeting/Annual General Meeting. This is to ascertain which Model Bye Laws are registered by your housing society and are in force?
