I am staying in CHS, Navi Mumbai and society will likely to follow Go Green Initiate where Audited Report want to send via email instead of hardcopy.
Also Hardcopies will be available on request. Kindly guide can we do this or it is against law.

I guess your society has registered Model 2001 when the society was registered and thereafter not adopted any later model.
When you face any such issue grab a copy of your society’s registered bye-laws in force. For example for an issue whether the society can provide a copy of the Audit Report by mail, as a part of Go Green Initiative ?
Find out from registered bye-laws of your society, what is the requirement of providing copies of Audit Report to members?
Following Two Bye-Laws provide answer:
163(ii) A copy of such notice/communication of the decision/resolution shall be displayed on the notice board of the society and thereupon, the notice shall be deemed to have been duly given or communication shall be deemed to have been duly made and the complaints received or made that the notice/communication was not received or was not sent to the correct address shall not affect the validity of the notice or the communication.
- The society shall have its Notice Board, fixed at a conspicuous part of the building, on which shall be exhibited all notices and communications referred to in the bye-law No. 163(ii) the Statements of Accounts, the Annual Reports of the Committee and other matters, of which notices are required to be given to all the members of the society under the Act, the Rules and the Bye-laws of the society. If there is more than one building, the similar Notice Boards shall be fixed buildings
It should be clear that the above stated initiative iswell with in the Bye-Law provisions.
