I am a member of housing society registered in Thane, Maharashtra and own one flat in the society. I regularly pay my maintenance dues.
While constructing the society building, the builder had not shown any parking place in the approved municipal plan. Even our society building is not having stilt parking and the structure is G+6 floors.
There is open space surrounding our building and other members are parking their cars in the open area. The open area belongs to society. However the area where members are parking their cars is not marked and no Parking No. is allotted by the society to any member. The society is recovering parking charges from the members.
Now, I wish to park my car in the society compound but there is no space left. What is the remedy available to me?

As per bye-laws parking slots are to be allotted turn by turn by the Committee marking Parking numbers. Please write to the Secretary as to when your turn will come.
