North East: Understanding multi state co-op

Jugal Changmai

Respected Sir,

We are from Sivasagar District, Assam. Presently, we have engaged in Specimens Multi-purpose Co-operative Society Limited at Sivasagar as Business Collector (Agent) since October 2012. As we all know the present scenario of chit fund companies fraud activities, how they are dumping public money.

But Multi-purpose Co-operative Society concept is totally new for NE region. So, we do not have so much knowledge about guaranteed return of investors investment and risk factors in co-operative sector. Recently, the board of directors and legal advisor of the Specimens Multi-purpose Co-operative Society will come to our place.

The main objectives of their visit is to train/inform us regarding how secure of investors investment in Specimens Multi-purpose Co-operative Society and also legality of the society.

On behalf of Sivasagar Team, I would like to know from your side that:-

What are the questions we should put forward to management of Specimens Multi-purpose Co-operative Society at the time of face to face interaction at our place?

What would be the answers of the question?

What are the legal documents we should asked them to produce us?

I have attached Registration certificate & Bye Law of the Specimens Multi-purpose Co-operative Society for consideration & perusal.

I C Naik

There are no returns without risks. It is not advisable to trust such investment avenues to park hard earned money. In trying to make a fast buck people loose their principal also. I suggest keeping away.
