I am residing at Vashi, Navi Mumbai. It seems the builder has conveyed ( Flat Conveyance) for all other members of My Society except My Flat (I was outstation at that time).

1.Could you please tell me if there is anything like FLAT CONVEYANCE. If so please tell procedure and cost involved as builder is not taking any calls from me (as many years passed).

2.If Yes to above then can Land/building Conveyance of Society be done without having done the FLAT CONVEYANCE.

My society is going in for conveyance deed and is asking (aspr CIDCO) me to carry out my “flat conveyance” before they can proceed.

Sale of a flat by builder developer requires him and buyer to register the purchase by depositing the original contract duly stamped with Registration fees and the Registrar of Deals of Immovable Properties makes entries in the Property Register and returns to the Purchaser. For a member of CHS this document is a pre-condition. You have to go to builder’s office and take him to Registrar’s office for this purpose. This may be called Flat conveyance loosely as otherwise Conveyance essentially refer to registration of transfer of titles of land by builder / developer / owner to the Society being the owner of Land and the building constructed thereon.
