I wanted to ask and clarify my doubt that, does a person who owns a flat in a particular co-operative housing society, also has the ownership share in that society’s compound too? If so, then how much and which section of the MCS Act,1960 defines it ?
Do let me know at the very earliest sir. Its a bit urgent.

All land building and any assets belonging to the CHS i.e. not belonging to any member in terms of its description in the agreement with the builder to purchase the flat are undivided property belonging to all the members collectively held in the name of the CHS and accessible to all members uniformly in accordance with the provisions of bye-laws of the CHS and resolution passed in the General body meeting.
