My father is the member and I am the associate member. Our names appear so on the share certificates as well.
Can my father apply to the MC of the Soc to set my name as the member and his as the associate member? If yes, what is the applicable rule and procedure?

Assuming that the payment of flat value was made by your father, he has to execute a gift deed of the flat register it, which will attract stamp duty and registration fees. After that apply for membership in the prescribed form under your society bye laws along with copy of the gift deed and proof of Registration
