My wife is committee member, is it mandatory for her to attend AGM & SGM? Can her husband Associate Member attend AGM & SGM in her absence?

If a Committee member is absent in three consequtive meetings without taking leave of absence in advance he/she ceases to be a committee member as per bye laws. Husband of a wife may be allowed to seat when meeting is going on but that is only a courtesy and his presence can not noted in the society records.
