Four investors from Darbhanga, Bihar have decided to sue Uttar Pradesh based Credit Cooperative namely Kamuna Credit Co-ops, Sonbhadra (UP) for not releasing the money amounting to more than Rs 2 lakh deposited in RD and FD accounts of the credit co-op.
Victims Arti Mishra, Kishore Kumar Mishra, Ravi Roshan Mishra and Trishya Mishra have served a legal notice to the Kamuna Credit Co-ops through their advocate Sanjeev Kumar.
Giving details of accounts the Advocate says that the date of maturity of all the accounts has elapsed and in spite of several requests my clients have not received the amount from the society.
Though the victims did receive a letter issued by enquiry officer Manoj Kumar dated 22/06/2020 and going through the letter the victims came to the conclusion that without any proper cause the payments are being held up.
“My clients are suffering from chronic Kidney disease since January 2018 and for proper treatment they are in urgent need of the aforesaid amount. So that they may get their proper treatment by a competent Doctor” says the Advocate in his notice.
That you are hereby requested to make payment of the aforesaid maturity amount along with interest along with the date of maturity to the date of payment within 15 days from receiving of the legal notice otherwise my client would be at liberty to fight proper case/suit for redressal of their grievances before a competent court of law.
The notice has asked for a reply to the legal notice within a week otherwise further proceedings would be taken up.
