The World Index has adjudged India’s dairy co-op titan Amul the best among the 10 Strongest Dairy Brands, 2022, underlining the fact that taste of India becomes the taste of the world.
Excited with the news, GCMMF MD R S Sodhi tweeted “Extremely happy, world’s largest milk production country also has World’s strongest, farmer’s owned brand @Amul_Coop”.
Vinamilk, which stands at number two, is the largest dairy company in Vietnam. The third one- Yili Group is a Chinese dairy products producer headquartered in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. It is one of China’s leading dairy companies.
Social media activists queued up to congratulate brand Amul once the news was made public. Mangal Jit Rai of NCDFI wrote “Congratulations”. Rai is also on the board of the apex body of co-ops NCUI.
Another fan wrote “Congratulations! AMUL is already a case study in Business Management Schools! What a great brand Amul and what great Amul Advertisements”
Global Indices and India’s rankings represent the country’s performance on indicators that range from social to economic factors along with political indicators as well.
