In a review meeting on Monday, Uttarakhand’s Cooperation Minister, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, announced that the state plans to establish a cooperative society in every Gram Sabha.
Besides, he called for filling up the 735 posts remaining vacant and the recruitment aims to address the staff shortage and ensure smooth functioning of the banks.
Rawat also instructed that the ongoing SIT investigation into various cooperative societies be completed soon.
The meeting was attended by Registrar Sonika, Additional Registrar Ira Upreti, Anand Shukla, MD Neeraj Belwal, Joint Registrar MP Tripathi, and others.
